What you need to know about Suus Kuyten Auctions
We received several questions about the embryos. Below the answers:
What do I have to pay besides my winning bid?
1. 10% auction costs
2. 21% VAT
* This also applies to the auction horses
Where can I pick up the pregnant surrogate mares?
In Belgium. Suus Kuyten Auctions can arrange the transport, the shipping costs are for the buyer.
Do I have to buy or rent the surrogate mare?
We have two options:
1. You buy her for 3.500 euro excluding VAT (not included in the hammer price).
2. You bring her back to us, 6 months after the birth of the foal. For the use of the surrogate mare we ask a deposit of 3.500 euro excluding VAT (not included in the hammer price). This deposit will be refunded to you when the mare is returned in good condition.
What is the height of the surrogate mares?
They all measure at least 1.65m or more.
I don’t have place for a mare and foal, but would love to bid?
We can bring you in contact with professional rearing companies where they can stay.
